Bio
Shane was born in Dublin,Ireland
Seventeen years later, a career counselor told him an office job was not for him.
So, he decided to be a photographer.
Promptly got a camera.
Fell in love with B&W film.
Made a darkroom in his attic.
Attended Art College.
Graduated.
Worked for the best photographers in Dublin as an assistant.
Got a U.S. VISA.
Moved to San Francisco, for one year.
On the fourth day, decided he had a new home.
Spent the next few years assisting like crazy - everyone and everything, from shoots with celebrities to shoots with coffins.
Went to the 1870's and rediscovered Wetplate photography.
Fell in love all over again.
Loves teaching Workshops
Shane shoots for many commercial clients such as,
Google,Microsoft,McKesson,24 Hour Fitness,San Francisco Magazine,Docusign,
Gap,Banana Republic,Athleta and Old Navy.....
Still in San Francisco. Never had an office job.
